During a Pilates training we focus on:
- activation of the abdominals
- alignment of the spine
- the strengthening of the core muscles.
Regardless age, current physical condition or past activities all women and men who want to become stronger, longer and leaner can join our sessions.
We start each class with a warm up and upper body exercises. Then we focus on the abdominals, back muscles and legs. We finish the class with stretching and cooling down the body.
If you are a beginner, you will need time to learn the breathing technique and the sequence of the exercises. The activation of the abdominals is very important during each exercise.
Different levels of each exercise will be shown and you choose which level suits you the best. You do not need to do all the exercises, you train at your own speed.
We do all the exercises on the mats, which are available in the room.
